Summary and core responsibilities of the position

Reporting to the Supervisor of the operations, you will maintain the integrity of the data in our systems; Univeris, Winfund, and R-Broker. You will be responsible for all fund conversions, system updates, and daily maintenance/reconciliation of the various systems.

More specifically, the Operations agent will perform the following duties:

  • Generate daily electronic reports provided by the mutual fund companies and post in our systems in a timely fashion
  • Reconcile the manual transactions and make all necessary adjustments
  • Contact the Mutual fund companies or consult FundCom for the required data and manually enter the information in our systems
  • Perform the research related to the data and ensure the integrity of the data in our various platforms
  • Creations of funds in all the systems, movements of assets between plans etc. on all platforms as needed
  • Quality control and update prices in our systems
  • Carry out conversions of funds within the necessary time frame
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly verification of all the data
  • Assume any other tasks or responsibilities requested by supervisor

Main requirements & qualifications

  • Must possess a University degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of securities and mutual funds a must
  • Analytical; finding solutions to problems and difficulties encountered
  • Effective time management
  • Proven interpersonal skills: demonstrating a strong team spirit
  • Fluent in English and French; spoken and written
