MONTREAL, Quebec – On September 11, 2002, despite unseasonable cold and rainy weather, PEAK Quebec representatives, staff, suppliers and associates spirits were high as they participated in the PEAK Annual Golf Tournament to raise money for the Fondation des pompiers du Québec pour les grands brûlés. “We had a great turn out, and were able to raise over $24,000 for the charity, thanks to the generosity of the people and companies who participated.” comments Robert Frances, president and CEO for PEAK Financial Group. “Every year we select a different charity. We deliberately chose this charity because of significance of the date.”

“It was a fantastic day, and a wonderful experience for me. The funds raised far exceeded our expectations and we are very happy to be associated with PEAK.” states Mr. Raymond Barabé, former burn victim and council member of the Fondation des pompiers du Québec pour les grands brûlés. Mr. Barabé gave a heartfelt speech at the event, recounting his experience and recovery as a burn victim.
